Just applied the latest security patches from windows update, the
standard bookmark not one of the virus/worm emails etc as I do on a
regular basis.  Now my windows 2000 desktop won't boot.  I get a nice
blue screen that reads:

STOP:  c0000135 {Unable to Locate DLL}
The dynamic link library basesrv could not be found in the specified
path Default Load Path.

After about 2 minutes it reboots.  Freaking lovely and I have
assignments due in my online classes and the web pages don't work with
Mozilla.
