I will second that.  My family and I moved here in March and even though I
miss my friends back in Atlanta I do not miss the hassles of it.  I find
Lexington to be a very low-key city that has most of the upside of a big
city:  big college atmosphere, good food, airport and good living quality.
Home prices are on par with Atlanta.  Lots of green spaces and parks here.
The only down side is that it may not all the needs of young single people.

The tech sector is not as large here as I would have thought.  Horses,
tobacco, farming and Univ of Kentucky are king here.
