Just go here:
http://havardk.xmms.org/dist/xmms-1.2.7-rh8-rh9-rpm/
and install the rpm. It will work again, that's what I
did. Redhat 9 allows for clickable installs of rpms so
it really is not that hard to circumvent the lack of
embedded support.


Works fine even across network shares.
