Toad would be a good start. Toad can export a table as a huge insert
statement that you could tweak. I've used this several times to move data
from Oracle to DB2 cleanly. http://www.toadsoft.com/lic_agree.html

You'll need windows though. Also, this isn't really a good option for a
database with more than 500 tables as it's largely a manual process.
Probably beats a 3lb hammer though.
