[ale] [way OT]: Workbench power supply?

Breathing hydrogen is not a harmful unless is has displaced enough
oxygen to be a danger. But by then you will be blown to pieces by the
explosion of flipping in a switch in a hydrogen atmosphere. Ventilation
is a good thing! It would be a good idea to put the battery outside and
run the cables through a window. The sealed gel types don't leak
hydrogen. As a result, they don't take as many recharge cycles before
death. And yes, car batteries do NOT like being completely discharged.
It causes sulfonation of the plates which greatly shortens their
lifespan.
