My neighboor came out all proud showing me her notebook with it's wireless
connection. She got REAL scared when I started asking her if it was
secure. She had a windows machine behind it with a share with no password
because "it's just for the machines in her house". It's since been
secured.
When I drove to MA this xmas, I found all sorts of AP's. Some with quite
interesting names like "Travis Airport" or "Allentown Bridge".
When I went to FL last summer, I took my daughter for a drive to get her
to fall asleep and once she did, pulled in a parking lot and checked my
e-mail courtesy of an open AP.
Mine is not!
