Hardly.  I spent 26 years with AT&T, and turned down a few such 
opportunities (management).  I'm not looking at hiding the actual 
meaning of the situation as companies do with 
'layoff->downsizing->rightsizing', but am a firm believer in taking a 
positive attitude to such issues.
