Corporations are neither short-sighted, blind or stupid. They are
single-minded. That single-minded purpose is bottom-line profit. That is
the only reason corporations exist. They will do anything to boost that
bottom line. As a rule, corporations have no morals. As morals have no
weight on the balance sheet, there is no reason to have morals. So they
don 't.

If a corporation sees that they can produce their product for lees cost
that they are right, they will change production methods. There is no
thought to any factor other than the bottom line.

It the product won't sell because it doesn't work, they will retool
production to make it work well enough to sell it and make a profit. If
the profit is "not large enough", they will either sell the product line
or drop it entirely.

Corporations as a rule do not have "heart". They have business mind. If
an action will increase the profit margin, then that action MUST be
taken. Lawyers handle the problems and keep out the "heart" issues.

Outsourcing production is a way of life now. If any part of production
can be outsourced, it will be. Due to the way accounting works, even if
it cost more real dollars to outsource production, not having employees
on the payroll looks better.

The ultimate goal of corporations is to only have a board of directors,
officers, and stockholders. The entire concept of employees is anathema
to the corporates structure. Employees are tolerated all long as a way
to get rid of them has not been found for that section of production.

Get used to this. It will only get worse.
