Verfied mail.speedfactory.net is set up as smarthost.  Is my internal
domain localhost.localdomain?

Yes it most certainly is :-/

The reason pine can't read anything there is because it's empty.  The
mail never reaches it.  I can su to root and run fetchmail and it will
retreive the mail from the server.  All of it then gets delivered to
roots mailbox (/var/spool/mail/root).  Running fetchmail from my Jim
directory gives the following result.  Any ideas on what needs to be
modified in sendmail to get it to deliver the mail for
bluejay at speedfactory.net to Jim (/var/spool/mail/Jim)?  Thanks again for
any and all help.
