[ale] g3 vs g4 vs g5

ok wait here in what documents i can find of the g5 its bragging about
being 64 bit like thats an upgrade and its talking about the 128 bit
velocity engine, i thought the g4 and g3 were 128 bit chips? is the g5 a
downgrade? i wish they were a little more specific. they never said the
g4's were 32 bit chips with 128 bit velocity engine they just said the g4
is 128 bit and has a velocity engine, so if thats so then they have
stepped the chip down and upped the hertz so its probably not much
different in performance? so whats the deal? whats the low down on the
g3/4/5 ? is there a site that talks more of this? mac doesnt exactly tell
much about older chips atleast not from what i can find :( thanks for any
help
