It was included on the Suse 8.2 Professional ISO images that I
downloaded off of Xmule.

It isn't installed by default though I had to customize the install and
install it that way.

Yast2 is very nice, but with no ability to configure Samba you
definately need webmin, or
be very good at manually creating the samba.conf file, etc. to get samba
working.

In my opinion though for a person who is going to be using this system
as a server at their business
and writing applications they should probably use Redhat version 8.0 or
later

I'm probably mistaken, but I have never heard of SuSe certified
technicians or engineers, and at least there are standards for being
certified as a RHCE or RHCT. So therefore if they run into issues where
they need to hire a third party to come in and work on resolving the
issues it will be easier to find help if they stay with redhat. Anyone
can claim to be an expert, but I'd rather trust someone with a few
letters after their name as it shows that they put their money where
their mouth was.

Just my 2 cents worth, it and 38 more cents will buy you a cup of bad
coffee from the breakroom vending machine.

having said this, I do like Suse and I think it would be an excellent
choice for someone wanting to run Linux in their home.
