[ale] Day of Defeat on Linux

What does the manual file say?  You have an icon for making a nice desktop link look pretty.  I wonder if dod.fdg is the actual daemon or program.  Many times a tarball will retain the permissions designed by the author.  Post the output of "ls -l" so we can see what is a directory and what has execute permissions.  Thanks,

I have no idea where to start here.  I have edited some of the config files
but they are for the server when operational.
