Thanks to Matthew for stepping up and providing the presentation. I was
unable to make the meeting as I was sitting in the rain at a delayed
swim meet for my daughter.

Agreed. That's one primary reason I didn't stick long with Gentoo. It
took so bloody long to get installed to start with. Then again, I was
installing on a p166... :( Reminded my of my first Linux installs in
the mid 90's.

Agreed, and really sounds like a great solution for a firewall, except
for the fact, that most folks building firewalls on Linux make use of
low end hardware, again bringing up the problems with the install time
issues.

I'd like to hear more about the OO issue. Is this because SuSE doesn't
have an upgrade path to 1.03.1? I would think you could remove 1.0.2
and then install 1.03.1?

Now that sounds sweet. :) When I get rich (chuckle), I would like to
devote a relatively recent piece of hardware to a true Gentoo effort. I
wasn't really abel to do it justice on the p166. Unfortunately, since
my top speed boxes are what I'm now trying to make a living on, I'm a
bit more particular about what I install.

Sounds like a good meeting. Again, I want to thank Matthew for his time
and effort. I did not get home before midnight, since the rain did
eventually stop and they finished the whole swim meet...

The latest, most widespread virus? Microsoft end user agreement.
Think about it...
