[ale] dma won't stay

Thank you for the advice.
I tried upgrading RedHat, and lost sound output. I have moved my last box from 
RedHat to Suse, and won't have this issue again. With Suse enabling DMA can 
be done with nothing but the mouse. I even was able to get DVDs to play using 
only the mouse. Suse rocks!
