The job description is as follows:

QA Engineer

Responsibilities

     1. Design, document, and perform vigorous and reliable test cases 
     2. Provide feedback to development on work product quality through
        the identification and recording of defects 
     3. Perform system integration and regression testing to confirm bug
        fixes 
     4. Assist in the definition of documentation and test standards 
     5. Research and recommend vendor products as requested 
     6. Work with other QA Engineers to establish software testing
        process improvements. Continually work to improve standards and
        processes 
     7. Plan, coordinate, organize and execute on projects assigned in a
        timely and accurate manner 
     8. Must be primarily focused on ensuring quality of product
        developed 
Profile

     1. Expertise in Linux system administration 
     2. 1-3 years of Unix System Administration experience 
     3. Working knowledge of Sun, Windows, UNIX, Linux and Database.
        (MySQL and Oracle knowledge a plus) 
     4. 1-3 years of working knowledge of Software Life Cycle and QA
        methodologies 
     5. Experience with performing test evaluations, bug-tracking and
        test reports for software products 
     6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Need
        experience with writing Test Cases, Test Results documents and
        reading/comprehending Requirement and Specification documents 
     7. Must have strong multi-tasking, attention to detail,
        organization, decision-making, problem solving and
        self-administration skills 
     8. Scripting experience in Unix Shell scripts, SQL and/or Perl a
        plus 
     9. Experience with creating Linux RPMs and Solaris packages a plus 
    10. Experience using automated testing tools for software testing a
        plus (WinRunner or Rational Robot) 
    11. Experience with Security software and/or an Internet Security
        background a major plus
