[ale] ease of use in setting up samba servers?

I'm sorry I missed the ALE NW meeting last night and the following might
have been discussed there.

What I'm trying to find out is how easy is it to administer SAMBA
permissions in an NT environment? ie, what I'm looking for is the ease of
use for setting up share and file level security permissions. I can setup
share's pretty well but what I want to do is have the ease of use of the
Windows Explorer file level security permissions.

Is there any such thing for Linux? Why I'm asking is that this would be a
major step in getting linux into our environment as fileservers/etc instead
of using NT/2K systems.

Thanks,
John Cole, TICSA
