Actually this is a great opportunity to remind the list about HOPE grants.  Not HOPE scholarships, HOPE grants.  In almost any case you can get the state to pay for technical classes like the ones you are talking about, Further you can even get assistance with your books beyond tuition.  You don't have to have gone to high school in GA or had and particular GPA or any of that stuff.  In fact qualification is really easy.

The state has a book available that lists all the eligible schools and what they teach.  The title of it escapes me at present.  But if there is interest I'll dig up the numbers and names and such this evening and get em posted to the list.

In the meantime I'm sure google can be of assistance.

I have taken several, HOPE money makes it free and I think there are several 
Linux and PERL classes offered. Maybe if Geeks sign up, more will be 
offered.
