[ale] cdrw problem

It appears that your writer is not using the scsi emulation.  See if you 
can mount a cd in it using an ide device.

It might be that the modules aren't loaded.  What does the output of 
lsmod return?

executing 'cdrecord -scanbus' reports 'try cdrecord -scanbus' ??????
