[ale] Volunteer work for non-profits

A friend of mine has some free time on his hands, and would like to
volunteer for a non-profit organization (preferrably one that's doing the
world some good) which is not software oriented as an organization.  In
other words, not something like the FSF or an open source project, but an
organization that has a need for software developers and might not be able
to afford it.

Anyone know of a good site that lists organizations seeking tech volunteers?
