[ale] problems with FTP.

Hello all!

I'm trying to setup an FTP server so that I can update a webpage.
I've tried both ProFTPD and WuFTPd.  I can get WuFTPd working about 90%.
In DreamWeaver MX (my HTML editor/package) I am telling it to either
synchronize or upload the files on to a linux server (RH 7.2, Apache 2.x,
etc)  I keep getting errors because Dreamweaver keeps trying to recreate the
directory and thus won't upload anything to those directories.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
