| Do any of ya'll have experience running Oracle (pref. 8i or 9i) in

I've used Oracle on Linux in a variety of capacities over the years
since the port was released and we have not had any significant
difficulties with its performance or operation compared to other
platforms (most notably Sun platforms).
Currently the company I work for is in the process of developing a
complex J2EE application, and all of our platforms are based on RedHat
7.3. We use Oracle 8i on our database tier, BEA Weblogic 7.0 on our
application server tier, and Apache/Tomcat on the web tier, all of
which run flawlessly on our Linux systems.
