[ale] Installing FastAccess in Linux?

I have used roaring penguin in the past, which worked nicely.  I believe
it even had a gui front end in the later versions.  I currently use
coyote linux (floppy distro) on an old Pentium 1 as my gateway and it
does pppoe negotiation (and firewalling) just fine.
