capable of guessing a possible partition table. The way I remember it,
it was not very good finding out lost logical(not primary) partitions,
but you lose nothing with trying.
I would dump the whole disk onto a file with dd, to have as a backup, in
case someone else points out a better solution.
That said, the same thing happened to me once, and since I remembered
the exact partition layout and size of each partition, I just re-created
them. If you remember, you could give it a try. Use dd to make a backup
of the original disk, though.
