You have to treat it like a hard drive, not a floppy. You fdisk it then
format it. You can actually put multiple partitions on it if you want.
I once purchased a bunch of zip cartidges from some guy real cheap
because he'd bought ones that were mac formated and didn't think he
could use them. I didn't intentionally take him by the way, I explained
to him that he could use them, and to fdisk/format. He was absolutely
convinced they would not work. He was going to give them to me. I paid
him something so I could sleep at night.
