Under a winxp-home (gag, spit choke) machine today, I set up networking
with a static IP. I was logged in with admin rights. Yet after it was
all done and working as the admin user, none of the other users had
networking ability. As all of the other users have had admin rights
removed, I will need to change their privileges, set up networking, then
reset their privileges.

What a PIA! Since when does networking parameters follow the logged in
user?
