Subject: [ale] Adaptec 1200A RAID Controller
I have an Adaptec 1200A RAID Controller for whoever wants it (free as in
beer). I bought it to build a RAID Linux system and decided in the end to
go with a Promise card. It is new, but I don't have the original box or
manual (it comes w/ 2 80-wire cables inside a Promise TX2 box). The 1200A
will not do hardware RAID w/ Linux and is not really worth messing with
unless you want to use it as an extra IDE controller.
Let me know.
