[ale] Inexpensive broadband recommendations

We have Speakeasy iDSL, 1 static ip address, 144/144, @ $95/month.  Service
has been exceptional!.  Speakeasy uses Covad.  Ordered Earthlink the other
day which supposedly offers aDSL to us.  Were used to disappointments, when
they actually check out the phone lines! Earthlink offered free equipment,
self-install, 1 static ip address, $55/month, first three months @ $21.  I
think it's 1.2 MB down, 128k up.
