Jim,
Since Mysql support is pretty much enabled on every php system nowadays,
I'd be very surprised if you needed to recompile anything. afaik,
phpmyAdmin is all php source, so as long as you drop it in in the correct
spot and configure it correctly, you should be able to use it no problem.
