Most of the commercial Linux distros are targetting companies to migrate
from Unix -> Linux currently. I don't think it's a bad strategy either --
it makes a lot of sense financially for the companies in many cases, and
it's much easier for companies to convert from Unix to Linux than from
Windows to Linux....
There are certainly things commercial Unix is good for, but there are also
lots of things I do with my Solaris on Ultrasparc boxes which I can do much
more cheaply with Linux on Intel
