Basically I'm looking at making a timer for my bettery chargers this
trip... Kinda like a timer that turns on my christmas lights every
evening and off at night, but instead it'll run for 3 hours and then
kill power to the charger. I've killed a few batteries and chargers
because I'll set one up and then forget to unplug it or get dragged
away, etc.
My current theory is to get a 12hour dial timer like for a hot tub (they
have 1 and 12 hour timers at Home Depot) and just put that in serial for
a wall plug. put a standard 3prong plug on the timer and put the whole
thing in a box.
A bit rudamentary but would do the job I want very well.

I also have some unusual things like temperature compensated crystal oscillators, and hookup wire with teflon insulation, bulk no-clean flux, bags and bags of unknown mosfets, microphone elements, etc. etc. I have a lot of project boxes, but they are the small and cheap variety which I hate. I wouldn't mind giving a couple away for free.

The ABS cases are extremely tough and have tapped brass inserts for the screws. The styrene ones are pure junk and are like what you get at Radio Shack.
