I was shocked, too. There is a whole wall of them at CompUSA. Maxtor,
Conner, Seagate, et. al, all have a cheap, home user line. I saw some
drives with only a 90 day warranty. I have yet to see a SCSI with less
than 3 years on a warranty. Most have a 5 year.
