[ale] how to get bash to run .bash_profile?

One thing that I found with my distro (Slackware 8) is that when calling 
bash with --login, you also have to specify -i (interactive) .  My 
updated line is this:

c1:2345:respawn:/bin/bash --login -i < /dev/tty1 1>/dev/tty1 2>/dev/tty1
