Didn't I hear that eMachines is now owned by IBM?  I think it was a
BestBuy salesman telling me that, so I know it has to be true.

eMachines has a new boss and their support is supposed to be much
better.  This is not a personal recomendation, I've never had an
eMachine.  Just that the specs come fairly close to what he's looking
for.

emachines is well known for producing poor quality low end desk tops.  I
was not aware the had gotten into the laptop market.  I sure wouldn't go
with a laptop from them though.
