According to the manual, the max speed for this modem is 19.2. You are
correct, the ZDXI is the international version of this modem.

For what it's worth, these are great modems. We currently sell the
MT2834ZDXb modems, but sold the MT1932ZDX modems for years. They are
pretty much trouble free, and they have the ability for you to dial in
to the modem itself and program/reprogam it. If you can get past the
power supply problem, this should be a great modem to use.
