I noted in the tcpdump man page that some of the packet data might get 
truncated, so I extended the # bytes snarfed and got something I find to 
be interesting and likely the source of my problems, I think.  Check 
this out:

	Type: IPv6 address
	Class: inet

What's with the IPv6 address stuff?  The successful query is as follows:
