Something else about this I've just noted.  Doesn't make sense to me, 
but then again I don't know enough about this stuff.  The successful dns 
query shows the following:

User Datagram Protocol, Src Port: 1024 (1024), Dst Port: domain (53)

Whereas the unsuccessful shows:

User Datagram Protocol, Src Port: 63002 (63002), Dst Port: domain (53)

Now I would have expected them both to use the same port.  What I find 
particularily unusual is that the successful one is using a registered 
port #, where as the unsuccessful is not.

Does anyone else find this peculiar?
