[ale] On Topic?: Additional adaptec drivers in kernel?

  I'm trying to compile the 2.4.20 kernel with the source code version of
the U320 drivers from adaptec.com.  I cd /usr/src/linux and untar the
file, it adds files to drivers/scsi/aic7xxx nice and clean.  However it
doesn't compile correctly (alot of info to post here).  Anyone ever done
this or close to it?  Any ideas?
