The Nazi party was in many respects a "left wing" party - your response
only serves to highlight the confusion that all of these terms engender.
Consider that the Nazi party was officially a Socialist party.  But
purported political leanings do not necessarily map onto real-life
practice; at any rate, I have already observed that few people (or
parties) lie at either pole -- and I would suggest that "right wing" and
"left wing" are no longer very useful terms, so polluted is the
terminology (which has always, at any rate, been insufficient).  However,
I was addressing the _literal_ meaning of the terms in question; they are
not "my definitions", but the historically accepted meanings.
