[ale] [OT] Gigabyte 6VTXE MB and Celeron 1.2Ghz won't play :-(

That was the second thing I tried (after yanking the video card) :-)
No joy. It is a VIA board. Anyway, I've RMA'd this doggy and ordered
another board and processor combo (integrated by the vendor, so as to
remove the fumble-finger-factor -- mine, that is).
