Haha! Do I have the tool for you! I have attached my files for a Linux
based windows 2000 terminal server workstation, and I do exactly what
you do.
Please cxall or email with any questionds. I'm about to wipe out, so
talk 2 u all tomorrow,
Autologin:
http://www.linux-easy.com/development/autologin/
My setup:
Linux boots to runlevel 5.
AutoLogin logs in as "test".
Test's .Xclient file calls strictly a single application, in full
screen.
Here is mine:
#!/bin/bash
startx /usr/local/bin/rdesktop -d domain termsrv.nnn.edu
You kill the application, the session ends, and auto-login starts all
over again.

Subject: [ale] Auto Login
Can someone tell me how to setup a Linux box that auto logs in? We are
creating a stand alone web browsing PC that wil be running RH 7.3, and
Mozilla in Kiosk mode. We want a generic user with no rights to get auto
logged in when the machine is booted. It would be even better if we
could auto login and launch a program (mozilla).
Thanks
Harold
