[ale] gentoo: not by the books?

i appreciate your input :) but sadly the buisness card and linux from
scratch never even come close really, well linux from scratch kinda does
but it requires a lot of work and then id have to implement something like
emerge, really im just wondering if i can easily get emerge working on
that base tarball that comes in the gentoo installers..... assuming it
doesnt allready, damn not having the internet sux :-p oh well atleast i
can use email at school
