[ale] tcpdump question

I need some help with a tcpdump expression. I'd like to filter packets
based on all ports EXCEPT port 22, the ssh port coming or going from the
host to be monitored. I read through the tcpdump manpage but its cryptic
at best and I don't see any way to ! [not] a port. Any help is
appreciated.
