[ale] Screen Freezes at over 480/640!!!!!

What graphics card do you actually have? And what monitor? How did the
setup for XFree86 go? Maybe you could send a dump of the information you
get from xdpyinfo. It's hard to know what the problem is if we don't
know how you set it up.
