[ale] splitmail and rejoining messages

I don't know anything about splitmail, but you could use split to create 
smaller pieces, mail them as attachments and then cat the pieces together.

split --bytes=2000 bigfile

Yields xaa -> x??

then, on the other end: cat x?? > bigfile

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
