I'm not sure I understand the question.

You can turn on psuedo-transparency, in eterm and I believe aterm.

You can choose a background image for eterm, I don't know about aterm.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
