Two innocent questions:  How will ALSEG differ from the current Atlanta 
software engineering meetings scheduled and held by SPIN?  Was there an 
attempt (failed or otherwise) to combine the groups?

SPIN's info is at http://www.cc.gatech.edu/SPIN and no, I don't know 
anything more about them (yet).
