[ale] DirecTV DSL - No Reverse DNS

Here's the thing. A family member's IP is 65.185.226.225. They've had
the DSL since Telocity, and they reverse lookup works on that ip. I
signed up after DirecTV DSL took over, and am in a different area of
town, and my ip is 65.188.230.65. Doing a reverse lookup doesn't even
time out here, just says none. I'm going to talk to Customer Support
again on Monday and make sure we are on same page.

I checked my connection about a minute ago and the Telocity/DirectTV DSL
connection has a valid DNS reverse map just as it always has. Unless a
major change in their policy has just transpired, they've been one of
the
few companies that support Linux and don't mind if you run servers on
your
connection. They don't provide you assistance for your services
including
reverse DNS for NAT, VPN, etc. addresses.
I can't help but wonder if there's a confusion here...
