[ale] Kernel Upgrade question

I don't know that there is a list of all the things RedHat includes in
its standard kernel. The best starting point is to download a new kernel
and begin playing. Do "make xconfig" for the config part and save your
configs off to a file that can be reloaded. That way you can make
progress and not kill things that are working. And I would make a boot
floppy of your existing kernel and a separate floppy for your new
kernel, so you always have a way to boot to a working kernel. If it's
your first time, just keep reading the help offered in make xconfig. You
can learn a lot about what you need and don't need.
