[ale] apache won't parse shtml files...

apache -l (didn't have a httpd exe... must be another distro thing) returns
the compiled in modules. mod_include is not listed but is listed in the
/etc/apache/httpd.conf file as a loadable module.

any other suggestions? and thanks in advance for your help...
