[ale] Bad Superblock on /hdd?

I have this same problem, but it's with a software-mirrored filesystem.
No matter how cleanly the filesystem shuts down, it insists there's a
bad superblock. I wasn't sure how to pull from an alternate superblock
to restore it to see if it would happen again... but it's a pain to have
to rebuild the RAID on just about every boot.
